Captain Boomerang, Jr.
After the original Captain Boomerang, Digger Harkness, was killed during Identity Crisis, his son Owen Mercer took up the mantel. This figure is from Series 2 of the Identity Crisis line from DC Direct. I liked the articulation on this figure and the fact that it came with six boomerangs to fit in the costume instead of attempting to sculp them into the figure. Flash has a cool Rogue's Gallery, now it they would just come out with a Weather Wizard, Heatwave and the original Captain Boomerang.

Hal Jordan's Replacement, Until He Undied.
When Hal Jordan cracked under the stress from the destruction of his city by Mongul and the cyborg Superman Hank Henshaw, he gave up his mantle as Green Lantern of sector 2814 and became Parallax. His replacement was Kyle Rayner, a struggling freelance artist. This figure is from Series 4 of the Blackest Night DC Direct line. I was very pleased with the sculpting and happily included the figure in my collection.
Next time on Plastic in Paradise, fresh from The Flash's Rogues Gallery, Captain Boomarang!
